Agriturismo Pieve San Nicolò
The Agriturismo Pieve San Nicolò features a large breakfast room and a cozy relaxation lounge. The bedrooms are predominantly located on the first floor. The highlight of the property is the ancient bocce court, expertly restored and preserved. Adjacent to the agriturismo is a small Pieve (parish church), whose earliest records date back to 1145, when it was a church belonging to the diocese of Verona. Historical sources reveal that it initially lacked a roof and doors; in 1532, the prelate ordered it to be covered and enclosed. Over the centuries, the small church has undergone various restoration and enhancement works, as has the picturesque entrance avenue, which now appears in its current layout. The Pieve is still consecrated, and every year on December 6th, on the occasion of the feast of St. Nicholas (San Nicolò), Holy Mass is celebrated there.
